We are looking for professionals with broad expertise to join our team of Technical Control to assess the quality of our client’s ongoing projects.

The scope of your tasks will mainly comprise:

• Analysis of progress in ongoing construction projects of our clients to assess the risk of financial/other instruments that we provided to our clients (analysis will include correspondence of Working program with actual works performed).
• The analysis of profitability/risks of the construction projects. It will be needed when our client applies to get financial assistance in their construction projects. So, our engineering team has to assess all the risks (i.e., low prices, geographical risks, low capacity) associated with the project and report it to top management for decision making (i.e., to support the firm in this project or not).
• If needed, periodically traveling to construction projects and assessing risks on site, preparation of reports. Travelling includes mainly projects outside Azerbaijan.
• Performing practical training of fresh graduates in engineering on how to analyze projects, how to report progress.

We are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:

• 7+ years of work experience within the construction industry (both in the field and technical office)
• Knowledge and expertise in infrastructure projects (road construction, water supply, WWTP)
• Knowledge and expertise in construction schedule analysis (working program)
• Knowledge and expertise in international projects (including FIDIC)
• Knowledge and expertise in BoQ analysis
• Experience in the management of construction projects is desirable
• University degree in civil engineering
• Fluency in English. Working knowledge of Russian is highly desirable
• Willingness to assist and guide young professionals
• Willingness to travel frequently
